Building Design Management
Building Design Management combines design expertise with practical problem-solving in construction. This process covers initial concepts, design briefs, documentation, and final handover. Students learn about buildability, cost estimation, and sustainable execution. They create detailed CAD models suitable for costing, scheduling, contracting, and obtaining a Construction Certificate.

LETTER from the DIRECTOR

Design expertise with practical problem-solving

Building Design Management connects technical design expertise with practical problem solving in construction delivery.

From initial design concept, to the design brief, project documentation, and project handover.

Students are encouraged to develop and understanding of buildability issues, cost forecasting, and sustainable project delivery.

Our students have developed their design solution into a fully resolved CAD model suitable for costing, scheduling, and contracting, and application for a Construction Certificate.
