Intergenerational Community Centre and Residential Accommodation Project

PROJECT

The proposed building, with an area of less than 3000 m², is designed with a focus on sustainable development. The aim is to enhance building performance while reducing environmental impact and ensuring the well-being of occupants. Key sustainable features include the use of solar panels for renewable energy and energy-efficient water fixtures and appliances. These elements are intended to reduce energy consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, green spaces will contribute to improved mood and air quality, both indoors and outdoors, providing health benefits, particularly for vulnerable groups like the elderly and children.

The design not only addresses environmental concerns but also promotes the well-being of its occupants by integrating nature into the building. Renewable energy sources like solar panels reinforce the commitment to sustainability, aiming to significantly reduce the building's carbon footprint.

Additionally, the building’s location allows for multiple access points, improving accessibility for all users. This design consideration ensures ease of access, making the building more inclusive and convenient. The combination of these sustainable practices highlights the project's commitment to reducing its environmental impact while promoting the health and well-being of the community it serves.
